Recycling: if the bins were any closer they’d bite you

At work we have bins that indicate, paper, plastic, cans, etc. The organization is convenient and is sufficient. The company even makes it easier by putting a recycle blue bin in almost every office on plant. A born tree hugger, wasting things somewhat scare me, especially if it could be used for something else. I see some people at work print out massive amounts of paper and their print job alone takes 20 minutes. It’s ridiculous. I get to a point, that instead of waiting by the machine for them to finish, I find it more conducive to return to my desk to work until it’s all over. The hardest part to see is that this paper will eventually go in the shredder or a burn barrel and never get used again. Worthless.  My father says even if you don’t recycle, the workers end up having to do it when the trash gets to the landfill, and he feels it’s a big waste of time. Having spent a large debate and a chunk of an afternoon at work arguing that recycling was important, I confessed it’s st...

He’s just a teenage dirtbag…she’s such a pita

As a baby there exists the land of innocence where nothing is defined yet and they are oblivious to the adult world. Eventually, we scrape our knees, get in trouble, ask lots of questions, do things we shouldn’t, lie, cheat, steal, etc. and everything and I mean everything changes. In the world, each person has someone they really don’t like or they know everyone says is bad news. Nobody grows up planning on being a jerk, a dirtbag, (feel free to finish my sentence), I think society and our own psyche would like to label whoever we can and classify based on personal experiences and attribute them to what we think this person really is like. Some women, I guilty as charged, spend time on the gossip train, talking about how much we don’t like a certain, guy or girl and everything in your life, your day and whatever is going on is suddenly affected by said person, even if they had absolutely nothing to do with it.. Or you are so addicted about talking about that person its almost grossl...

Seattle : Amazing weekend in the Northwest

Image
I left my house friday early, 4am early! I wanted to beat fix 50 traffic and get to the airport on time for my 645am flight. I met my parents after going through security flew southwest and all went pretty smooth, saw mtn tops from the plane and even escaped 100 degree sacramento heat lol. Friday, we went straight to mount rainer, the skies were clear not a rain cloud in sight and off at the lodge there was daily piano music, hard cider to drink off the ledge of two mountain ranges, yes you read that right, in snow and all of Gods glory and masterpieces right around me. It was breathtaking, could not have been better and some of the hiker men, pretty cute just sayin. I ate at a restaurant in the lodge and hiked the trails around the base and some falls. Saturday was waking up and some more trails and my dad got a brilliant idea to hike mt st helens and tour the exhibit. I wont give it away but that place was just as incredible, and what a story behind that mountain eruption and story t...
