Jackiemaedit : The artist unleashed

For years, my sister growing up had a creative talent that not many people have. A talent so neat, our family forgot about just how good. Her talent was and is, art. She can take a blank canvas and turn it into a masterpiece over night. She uses this  outlet to express a whole new way of looking at the world. The things she can create, the paintings she can produce are a beauty like no other. The foundation is hardly simple. Take an idea and expand on it to the max. Every creation has a story and the best part about it is, that that meaning of the artwork itself, for each one is truly different; because everyone comes up with their own ideas and thoughts of what it means to them. For me personally, when you tour an art gallery, you see people becoming bored, or claiming they know exactly what the work is all about. When I look at her work it tells a story; it invites you to look at it again and again.

Her work is beautiful, it is downright gorgeous. One of my brothers can also create in this same regard. Whereas the other brother, youngest and myself, our talents are probably something else ! ;). She moved down south to go to school and I hardly see her. No folks this isn't on purpose. She had a plan and she is henceforth sticking to that plan. She wants to be a professional psychologist, you know that ones that say phd after their name. There is a quest involved here. She wants to meet that quest. Haven't you ever had a quest? A goal that you are so set on that nothing can stand in your way; not setbacks, not finances, not losses, not health, not relationships, not anything. What sets one back is if they choose to quit. It is a long road to complete a quest. I am reading a book right now, called "Happiness of Pursuit." This book is loaded with ideas, advice, and experiences and talks about what is the purpose of a quest, the way it drives us and fuels our passion.

I have quests of my own, in fact I have an adventure list to do before I die, the new and improved version for a woman my age anyways. I would like to travel all over the world as much as I can, even within the states, more on that some other time. But the point is, while reading this book I began to see her quest a little more clearly. Lately, I have been awake at night okay not lately, but often, and I lie awake thinking about my family. How they are doing, what they are up to, do they need my help, are they okay, when will I see them again, will we fight like usual when we finally do see each other, am I missing out on something big they are doing, etc. I found a quest in the middle of the night and knew I had to at least try.

Here is my added to list quest : share joy and love through my sister's artwork and sell as many paintings as possible. These pieces are amazing and need to be shared with the world. Follow : https://www.instagram.com/jackiemaedit/  if you do not have instagram, no matter, that is still the link to her page.
