#34 Bucket List : Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam, and misc thoughts

Az There were people on the bus from all over world. Met an Airforce guy with his wife both super nice helped me out when my cell had no battery on the way back to Vegas and we had fun chats. Indian gal named  Pooja chatted with me the whole time. She said her name means prayer. First stop was Hoover Dam, which was such an engineering marvel and so cool to see. After our four hour drive to AZ; thank god for movies and music. We stopped at the 7000 ft mather pt first and walked down to the canyon to take pictures. It was cold, rainy, and super windy. The view was so incredible I loved it.  Bright Angel lodge spot and viewpoint came after, and it was gorgeous. Cold windy became a norm and it became dark fast. The light from the canyon faded but it was almost ominous and surreal. I felt like a dot on a map, a small pawn on a chessboard, tiny compared to this amazing wonder and structure of beauty. #87 Bucket List : Vegas

Arrived in the morning and was super stoked to meet Abby at Terminal 3. We packed so much into the day. After we met her friend Kristin we went to Cheesecake Factory, stores, Caesar's palace, walked a lot and just overall had a good time. Later recharged then I met up with my UNR friends Jeremy and Katie. We went to the Chandelier bar which has three floors and a Hole in wall pizza place so rad"secret pizza" in cosmopolitan at vegas. Jeremy said no touching railings(disgusting in LV) lol what did i do I touched them lol.   We also went to the fountain show outside the Bellagio. It was spectacular. Vending machines with cupcake atms are pretty much a staple here which is a win win. Emergency footwear atms for chics who need shoes who are more comfortable was hilarious to come across. Margaritaville was so yumo. Thunder from down under vip status was unbelievable. Afterwards we went to an Irish Bar and listened to awesome old folklore music and tunes we requested. We...
