Florence- Cinque Terre- Tuscany

The city is like a dream. A place to fall in love and be in love. I loved it. The shops, the bridges, museums, the food. We stopped at a john bologna 360 degree painting used one block of marble to make the piece. Visited the Italian prison called Albergeto. Had lunch at a italian cafe, lasagna and caesar salad and later gelato. I berated myself for a bit spending money on italian stores, a treat no less. It was amazing. Later I slept for several hours after touring Boboli gardens with sweeping city views. Our tour guide surprised us with a private club rooftop bar for buffet and dance 💃🏽 evening at Flo Firenze. The sunset after hiking 300 steps was unbelieveable! Worth every minute. The italian meat was delicious and helped while I tried a specialty italian drink froofy and just something I had to try. What an experience and glad we got to go.

I bought some Italian clothing. Expensive, but worth every penny. The material is quality, the draw a timeless gem and maybe my boyfriend will be happy with the designs for lingerie, which Florence is known for lol. The time there was too short I felt and wished that I could just stand there forever in the square and enjoy the sights and sounds before me. The city had so much life and fun to it that you were never bored, and you felt not even sky was limit there. Also fun fact: magherita pizza that they are so famous for has three parts to it : basil, cheese, and tomato sauce/tomatoes. Queen Victoria fought for the country of Italy and made sure it was not a separate or divided country. The colors of the flag represent her wishes and also represent Italy's most famous pizza! So clever and I never knew :).

We woke up early and drove to Cinque Terre. The place has five fishing villages. We visited 3: Magnolia, Vernazza, Monterosso.
The beach water is clear and cold, the shops are cute and quaint. I for the first time bought a romper and a cute hat. The views and beauty were really breathtaking and colorful. I have been eating Gelato everyday for lunch. We went into the water and it felt amazing 😉. Took pictures, got a little too much sun ;) and drove past Masacarra on way to Florence. The mtn itself has marble rock which looks like snow but in fact its marble and some of the best in Italy. Next day slept in, 45mn drive to hillside 5 star resort spa called Norscenni and all kinds of activities.

We relaxed, enjoyed the wine and calm atmosphere and kind people. The place was straight out of a magazine! Had a hot tub and even a water slide! No wifi thank god, lol and all kinds of fun food and drink. I had to pinch myself to make sure I was not dreaming. We went wine tasting at Tavernelle Val Di Pesa. They bottle 9 thousand bottles a day. Bucca Di Beppo was their first restauraunt to supply their wine. Chianti Classico is what they are famous for. Pasta was served and a storm began to build, thunder and rain, huge storm clouds over the vineyard. Beautiful to watch.
