Colorado Trip 2014
Hi All,
I had a certain relative say these blogs are getting rather long, so comment on here or gmail.com, if you want to see changes lol, otherwise, sit back and enjoy. I recently just got back from Denver, Colorado. I flew out last thursday and took off work to go visit my friend Kristina, her husband Ray, and their daughter Jessie. They live in a small town outside Denver, in a cute little home. Inside note, I had not seen Kristina for almost five years. We met in fourth grade. I was this timid girl, who got picked on, and let me tell you, the day we met, she stuck up for me. She told the people who teased me, to back off. To this day, learned so much from her, and love her so much. I couldn't wait to see her. When I got off the plane, I raced to the baggage claim and met them at the parking garage and practically jumped at their car (silly lady).
We went to Estes Lake (see pic) friday and relaxed at the house. Girls went shopping on Saturday, because Ray-Ray would rather ice fish with the guys, (dont blame him), even shopping wipes ya out. Food is way more appealing! We definitely went to Panera Bread to recharge.

Slept on an air matress they put out with tons of blankets as it was pretty cold at night. Forgot ray's a hunter so his first deer kill hangs on the wall. yep the creature was starin the heck out of me, until I said well time to make a new friend even if he is no longer living. thank god it was cleaned and hollowed out to erase smell and eerieness if you catch my drift. Ray made trout one morning for breakfast. No lie, if cooked/ fried right with good seasonings, its delicious!
Jessie is a hoot and melts my heart; she's 12-15 months old and already has her mom's style, and attitude all strong willed, and determined :). Driving by during our errands, Kristina and I came across a rescue team, training on the ice, which was incredible to watch if you have ever seen them in action. Raymond used to do that before he was honorably discharged from the navy due to an injury. I had a good time, and the lil blondie sleeps in till 830 am. so i got sleep ;P. This morning was a sad one for me because I sat in the car on the way to the airport trying not to cry. As they helped me unload, I couldn't hold back. Kristina and I embraced after I did my round of goobyes and it was rough, but I will be back, or something somehow. Now, slowly unpacking and unwinding; a bath and food sound great, as Einstein Bagels meal at Denver International Airport seems hours ago. <Moxie signing off to relax>
