Gated Communities, You're gonna miss this, JUMP THE FENCE
I do not like gated communities. They are pointless personally. No offense to those who live there, but do you really feel safe? What is the point of gate codes, and fences with sliding mechanisms, and key code entry, or voice activated passwords, or phone calls needed to be made if that other side of the wall, is unsafe already? Before you go thinking I broke into one, let's demonstrate the facts. The gate serves a purpose to intentionally hold up security for homes and for its dwellers who inhabit such areas. Is it because people live in fear of murder, robbery, or maybe even homeless people? How then do you explain that car theft is reported (studies show, just google it) that gated areas still have a high rank for theft even care theft. The car of a guest visiting someone in a gated community gets stolen from. Now wouldn't this be eerie, if not only a resident residing in that community could potentially have access to an entire group of people and alarm systems on any suggested complex. Hold on a second. Get the inhaler out, or a paper bag folks, because we don't know if that person is an outsider or an insider. How do we know? These gates are useless. We don't know and cameras or no cameras, guards or no guards, expensive, fabulous, rich, extravagant homes have flaws. It could be like a lower version of a smart home. This isn't some kind of newly developed phobia, it's control. The gate and the codes control when you enter or don't. The system has your information on it. Does it mean all these people are idiots or snobbish or foolish to be in one? Nope, by no means. It means that some people trust the system, trust a machine and a mechanically operated system to keep them safe. Nothing wrong there, but if someone figures out the system, you are in big trouble.
Life goes by so fast. Although, I didn't realize how fast time really goes. I argue, I fight, I get angry, I cry, get sad, I rejoice, I get glad. Time is relative isn't it? Time goes by faster than we think; as Trace Adkins says " You're gonna miss this," (his song about missing the moments) or Kenny Chesney's "Don't Blink." I hope and pray this growth whenever it comes will stay. I'm rushing a lot and seem to be in a hurry to have all the answers right away, right now, to feel better, to be grown up, to understand, to make it work. It's a lot to take in. All of it. We can do whatever it takes to just BE. There's a gate that's holding you back from feeling, holding you back from changing, holding you back from freedom, holding you back from joy, holding you back from letting go, or breaking away, it's holding you back from His love, holding you back from hope, holding you back from because you keep pushing trying to be done or finished, holding from the truth, holding the memories.
Here's an option : JUMP. Jump that fence or barrier and keep going, we are never alone unless we are in motion; you're gonna miss it, if you don't.
