at the indoor bar with free drinks and there was a kitchen if u needed to cook and a balcony and outdoor area with hammocks.
All chill atmosphere for my first stop and stay before meeting my tour group. Taking the subway station in different countries is always an experience. Saw a guy playsaxophone song to Michael Jackson's "Billy Jean" at underground subway. I found myself seeing so many sights and started my walking and touring 8am time frame to cover more ground. Somerset house on way to Big Ben was beautiful. St. Paul Cathedral, first before that then St. Margarets aka Westminster is worth the river walk. Saw crown jewels photos not allowed queen elizabeth queens mum crown was the most beautiful one. We went to Hms belfast ship, navy shipyard ship and Andrew and Dylan got lost. Henry and I looked for them for an hr and a half ! We decided to walk Tate Modern Museum and catch Shakespeares Globe, which was today. Ran/walked past city hall and cruised through the ever delicious and popular Borough Market. When going to the Tower Bridge and Tower of London, fast passes where godsend and subway cards just to get around the city.
Seeing the millenium bridge filmed from Harry Potter was fun to walk on and step back in time. The time I did all this with people I just met when I walked in the door has been incredible. Tour group arrived today. I felt stoked to meet them all but felt guilty I have seen so much so far. I am ashamed to admit I love my independence and exploring during day out on my own and making myself uncomfortable to learn and grow and I wanted that and still want that for others. It is difficult. You do come across as this aloof asshole essentially without meaning to be and you set off realizing you were here ahead of time, they weren't; got to give em time to see what u got to and so forth.
I of course want my best friend to feel that adventure and travel bug like I did a year ago which led to all of these trips and so on. I will be grateful that in Paris, we will experience it all as a group and new together. London, the people the way they talk, so nice and sweet and refreshing. I have a friend from London, and it is cool to see first hand about this country etc. I still have a ton to learn and by no means an expert, seasoned travel maybe, but still, everyone has their moments. I am excited to see what is next. yes, I admit I am a bit of an introvert, I truly like my time to recharge after a really long day of constantly people everywhere. Sure the tour is out connecting still tonight, but I let go of what I cannot control and my sleep comesy first, health too. It will propel me to be motivated to stay as such so going home will not be as brutal as many it very well may be. Anyhow, getting ready for bed, but city first stop, fun avenue to keep my eyes forward as this will be over in the blink of an eye; aka enjoy this time I tell myself as I brush my teeth. TTFN
